About us

Friarsgate Financial Planning are a firm of Financial Advisers based in Chester City Centre. We are completely independent, which means we can offer our clients an unlimited range of financial products to create the best solution to meet their goals.

Although based in Chester, we have a growing client base across, Cheshire, North Wales, Shropshire and Merseyside.  We also have an adviser based in London, and have corporate clients located across the UK.

We were formed in 2019 as a result of a merger between 2 local companies, Arrow Financial Services based in Chester and D&G Independent based in Mold. With both companies sharing a commitment to Independent Financial Advice and with talented young advisers in both companies, a merger brings about a clear succession-planning path, ensuring the company is well-positioned to prosper for many years ahead, providing excellent service to both new and existing clients.

We work with City based investment specialists, Square Mile, to help our clients develop the most appropriate portfolio structure to meet their individual financial goals. Their highly experienced, expert team of analysts work to identify funds to match clients investment objectives over the long term.

We are also very excited to announce we have teamed up with the Sense Network, who we have recently engaged to provide us with ongoing business and regulatory support. Sense are committed to independent financial advice and provide robust and fair compliance procedures, which in turn allows us to get on with devoting our time and energy to looking after our clients.
